Miac Limited has been trading since 1992 and was first audited for BS9002:1994 in December 1997 by the Energy & Environment Accredited Quality Assessment (E.A.Q.A.) and the certificate number 136 was issued. Since 1st July 2003 Miac has been working to BS9001:2000. Miac was also accredited by the Electrical Equipment Certification Service (EECS) to supply Mineral Insulated Cable Glands to British Approvals Service for Electrical Equipment in Flammable Atmospheres (BASEEFA) since June 1996. | |

| Since the 1st August 2003 to fall in line with the EU Directive 94/9/EC-ATEX, Miac has become accredited for ATEX, notification number ATEX0386. Miac is regularly third party audited for these certificates. |
